Who is Tiffany?

Miss Evans was first introduced to us in 2003 in an appearance on Star Search. She’s the only performer in the history of the show to receive a perfect score on all of her performances. It is obvious the music execs over at Columbia Records were blown away by Tiffany’s golden voice, because she was offered a record deal that same year.

She also made appearances on television shows such as The District and Law & Order, and even hit up the big screen in Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman.“Oh my gosh! Working with Tyler Perry was absolutely amazing. He is so funny. Every time he’d come around it was hard to concentrate because we would start laughing.

It was hard to keep a straight face. We messed up so many times because he’s always cracking jokes. But, he’s a wonderful person. He’s so down to earth as well. And working with him I learned a lot about what it takes to make movies. It was a great experience.” Tiffany exclaims. She goes on to say…“It was my first movie so I practiced really hard. I was very excited! I was in my room like twenty four-seven practicing.

Practice makes perfect and I wanted to do a great job. Since my name was already Tiffany it made it a lot easier.” It may seem as though Tiffany has dropped her acting career and returned to her music, but she actually has plans to continue to do films in the near future. “I am reading a lot of scripts right now.

It’s so hard to choose because they are all great. You guys will definitely see me on the big screen pretty soon.

I’m going to let y’all know and keep y’all in check with everything. Just to see your opinion on what I’m doing.” She says. She even hopes to star in a dramatic film alongside Denzel Washington. “He’s such an amazing actor. He plays a lot of dramatic roles and I love dramatic movies. I would love to dig deep down inside myself one day and hopefully be playing in a movie next to Denzel Washington. I want to go deep inside myself and become a dramatic person. I would love to play in movies like that.” States Tiffany.

Growing up in a household with nine other brothers and sisters gave Tiffany the extra boost she needed to pursue a career in entertainment. “It was always loud! It was like a house party everyday. I would wake up and there would be some kids up before me. The whole family loves music so we would play it throughout the house. We would have this video camera taping each other, and of course I was always the first one to jump in front of the camera.” She laughs.

It’s almost uncommon to find a celebrity, or anyone as kindhearted as Tiffany. She finds herself giving to people around her all the time. “I’m not selfish at all. I always share, even with people I don’t know. People always tell me I’m too nice.” She says. Being nice is only one way Tiffany expresses her appreciation. She also finds staying loyal to her family and friends just as important. Though this may seem hard to do once you’re famous and buried in photo shoots and shows, she always makes an extra effort to stayin touch with them and let them know how she’s doing. “I just miss chilling with my family and having a social life.

Like, I can’t talk on the phone like I used to. Even with my best friends Shakira and Olivia, they always talk about how I never talk to them anymore. But they love me so much and they understand. It’s not like I’m antisocial, but I only get to talk to the people that I work with. I’m not always around my phone and it’s not like I’m avoiding anybody. I wish I could work and talk on the phone. I just have to get myself situated and then I’ll be able to talk on the phone all day.”
